Find The Needle Achievements (2026): Steam Status and Prep
Find The Needle has no Steam Achievements listed as of November 2, 2026. What that means, likely milestones, and how to prepare without fake unlock lists.
Find The Needle does not list Steam Achievements on its store page as of November 2, 2026. The appdetails response for App ID 5160800 includes Single-player and Family Sharing categories, but no Achievements category. The demo (App ID 5165210) also does not advertise achievements.
That does not mean achievements will never exist. It means there is no official list to publish before launch, and any “full achievement guide” you see right now is guessing.
Store status checked November 2, 2026. The game was still in “coming soon” state. Achievement lists, icons and unlock conditions were not published. This page will be replaced with a verified list if the launch build adds them.

What the store actually says
Steam exposes achievements through the app's categories and its achievement schema. For Find The Needle:
- Single-player: yes
- Family Sharing: yes
- Achievements: not listed
- Steam Cloud: not listed
- Steam Workshop: not listed
- Trading Cards: not listed
A missing category is not proof that the feature will never appear. Developers can add achievements later, including during Early Access. But it is proof that there is nothing official to guide right now.
Why achievements might arrive later
Early Access games often ship without achievements and add them with 1.0. The reasons are practical:
- achievements need final art and localization
- unlock conditions depend on balance that is still changing
- developers do not want to invalidate achievements with a save wipe
- the achievement schema has to be configured on Steamworks
Find The Needle's planned 6–12 month Early Access period gives the developer time to add them. The store's “full version” notes mention more machines, more diggers and bigger late-game projects, but do not mention achievements specifically. Treat them as possible, not promised.
Likely achievement categories (speculative)
If achievements are added, the game's systems suggest a few natural categories. These are predictions, not confirmed unlocks:
- Needle collection: find 1, 5, 10, 20 and all 24 needles.
- Pile completion: finish the Standard pile, finish the Mountain pile.
- Automation: build a conveyor, power a machine, process the first bale, build a fully automatic line.
- Economy: earn a large amount of money, fulfil a delivery order, produce each product type.
- Tools: buy every hand tool, use the metal detector, unlock the vacuum.
- Scale: build a factory with a certain number of machines or belts.
- Misc: find a needle without a detector, complete a run without selling raw hay, and similar challenge runs.
Do not treat this list as a checklist. It is a description of what the game's systems make plausible, not a datamined achievement list.
How to prepare now
You cannot pre-unlock achievements, but you can set up a save that makes them easy to earn later:
- Keep one Standard save. Do not delete it after the first run. If achievements are added, a completed save may be the fastest way to trigger collection milestones.
- Do not use cheats or save editors. A modified save may fail achievement validation, and it can corrupt an Early Access save format.
- Play the demo separately. Demo achievements, if any, are usually separate from the main game.
- Check the Steam community hub after launch. The developer will post patch notes there; achievement support would be a headline feature.
- Wishlist the game. Store updates are pushed to wishlist users.
Achievements vs in-game completion
The 24-needle collection is an in-game goal whether or not Steam achievements exist. The display case tracks it. If you want a completion target that does not depend on Valve's achievement system, use the case:
- count the needles you have
- note which sections you have cleared
- finish the Standard pile before starting Mountain
The needles guide covers the hunt. The ending and playtime page covers what “finished” might mean.
Will achievements be missable?
Unknown. If the game adds achievements later, some may be missable if they depend on a one-time story event or a specific pile. Others may be grind-based and always available. Until the list exists, the safe approach is:
- keep a save before the final needle
- keep a save before the final product unlock
- do not overwrite your only completed save
This is good save hygiene for any Early Access game, not just this one.
What we will publish after launch
If achievements go live, this page will be replaced with:
- the full official list
- icons and descriptions
- unlock conditions
- a spoiler-light checklist
- known missable achievements
- a completion estimate
If they do not go live, the page will say so and point to the in-game collection instead. We will not pad the page with invented achievements to fill the keyword.
